Stacy has been involved with dogs since she was a young child. She has worked as a veterinary technician, a groomer, kennel manager, and a professional trainer. She helped raise and train detection dogs that went on to work for customs, border patrol, and correctional facilities.
She has done volunteer work at many different rescues and shelters. She has also rescued and fostered many dogs through the years. Some of the dogs she rescued/fostered have gone on to become service and therapy dogs.
She has experience in detection work, protection training, IGP, agility, rally, herding, obedience, and weight pull. She has been fortunate enough to have worked with a large variety of breeds. She currently has 8 dogs: an Akita X, 3 Beaucerons, 3 Yakutian Laikas, and a Pomeranian.
Though she loves working with dogs of all ages, she absolutely loves working with puppies and helping them grow into well-rounded dogs.
