Jarrod’s lifelong passion for dogs began at birth with his first companion, Addy, a beloved rescue pup. From an early age, Jarrod immersed himself in learning about dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, starting in 7th grade through volunteer work at Montgomery County Animal Shelter (MCAS).
As part of his Eagle Scout Project, Jarrod designed and built a third fenced area at MCAS specifically for reactive dogs, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for their care. Over the years, he has fostered more than 250 dogs and puppies, gaining extensive experience with special-needs dogs, including those who are blind or deaf.
Jarrod has been an integral part of Agility and Scent Work events at Dog Gone Fun (DGF) since 2022. His favorite roles include welcoming new competitors, teaching volunteer responsibilities, coordinating event helpers, and ensuring everyone enjoys the experience. His enthusiasm for agility led him to become a member of both the Conroe Agility Training Club and the Spring Creek Agility Club.
Jarrod looks forward to helping you strengthen the bond with your dog through positive, engaging training experiences.
